Support
Answers to common questions, and how to reach us.
We read every message and usually reply within a few working days. Tell us your iPhone model, iOS version and Sare version (at the bottom of Profile). Please don’t send health details unless they’re needed to help you.
In the app you can also write from Profile › Support › Contact us or Request a feature.
Where is Profile?
Tap the round button at the top right of Today or Archive. Most settings below are there.
Restore purchases
- Make sure you’re signed in to the App Store with the Apple ID you used to buy Sare Pro.
- If this is a new phone, first sign in to your Sare account (see below).
- Open Profile › Subscription › Restore purchases.
If Sare says the purchases belong to another Sare account, Sare Pro was bought while signed in to a different account. Sign in to that account to use it.
Cancel a subscription or get a refund
Subscriptions are managed by Apple:
- Open the iPhone Settings app and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions, then Sare.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. You can also get here from Sare: Profile › Subscription › Manage.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. You keep Sare Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your Sare account doesn’t cancel the subscription.
For a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple handles all App Store refunds; we can’t issue them ourselves.
Sign in on a new phone
To move your records to a new phone, your account must be backed up first. On your old phone, open Profile › Account › Back up your account and choose Apple, Google or email. (If you don’t see this row, your account is already backed up.)
On the new phone:
- Install Sare and tap I already have an account.
- Choose Continue with Apple, Continue with Google or Continue with email, the same way you backed up.
- With email, type the 6-digit code we send you. Your records come back.
Your photos don’t move this way, because they’re never uploaded. Restore your iPhone from a backup, or use the “Sare” album in Photos or an export (see below).
The email code didn’t arrive
- Check your spam or junk folder. The email comes from Sare with the subject “Your Sare code”.
- Wait a minute, then tap resend. Each code works for 10 minutes.
- If Sare says “We couldn’t find a Sare account with this email”, that email was never used to back up a Sare account. Try the address, Apple ID or Google account you used before.
Where are my photos, and how do I keep them?
Bump photos, ultrasounds and moment photos are stored only on your iPhone, inside Sare. They are never uploaded to us, so we can’t restore them for you. To keep them safe:
- iPhone backup: they’re part of your iPhone’s backup (iCloud Backup or a backup on your computer). Restoring a new iPhone from that backup brings them back.
- Also save to Photos: turn it on in Profile › Memories & backup. Each photo is then also copied to a “Sare” album in Photos.
- Export: the export includes every photo on the phone (below).
If you delete Sare without a backup, the photos are deleted too.
Export your data
Open Profile › Privacy & data › Export all data. Sare makes a ZIP with your records (as JSON and CSV files) and the photos on your phone, and lets you save or share it, for example to Files. It’s free on every plan. You need an internet connection.
Turn health data off
Open Profile › Privacy & data › Health data › Withdraw consent. Sare stops saving health data at once and becomes read-only. You can then export your data and tap Delete my health data from the server. Your account and subscription stay.
Delete your account
Open Profile › Privacy & data › Delete account. See Delete your account for what is deleted and what to do if you no longer have the app.
Reminders don’t arrive
- Check that notifications are on for Sare in the iPhone Settings › Notifications › Sare, or in Profile › Settings › Notifications.
- Check your times in Profile › Reminders.
- Focus modes can hold notifications back. Allow Sare in your Focus settings if you want them through.
Medical questions
Sare doesn’t give medical advice, and our support team can’t answer medical questions. For anything about your health or your baby, contact your midwife or doctor. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
